COnfirmation

The River at Eureka has a strong tradition of confirmation spanning many decades. During the Confirmation journey, students grades 6-12 will have to opportunity to ask questions, deepen their faith, and to ultimately profess their faith in Jesus Christ.

The RAPIDS (youth group)

The Rapids youth group meet 7pm-8pm on Thursdays. If you would like to be added to the email distribution list, send your email address (along with any questions) to

24 Hour Prayer vigil
November 8 - 9

Something beautiful happens when the church prays together! We invite you to join others from The River for a 24 Hour Prayer Vigil. We will be praying over our families, our schools, our community, our country, and our church. This is a 'pray where you are' vigil--you will not need to gather at the church building for your one hour of prayer. We will provide an online resource to guide you through your one hour of prayer.

Annual Soup Fundraiser - Spoonful of Hope Fundraiser
November 2 8-11:30

November will be here before we know it and that means soup! This event allows us to adopt a family for Christmas with the proceeds from the fundraiser. Our goal is to raise $1,000 this year. Please consider signing up to serve, donate a soup, or a dessert. The event will be on November 2nd.

Youth Fall Retreat

Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) Bed Build Event
Saturday November 8th 10aM - 2pM

Description

This event will cover a bed build and all the necessary shifts.

Purpose

Come and get a little sweaty and dusty but leave knowing you're having a direct impact in helping kids in our community get their OWN BED!

This project brings people closer together as we are all focused on the same goal, helping children in our community Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

Role

NO EXPERIENCE necessary!!

Volunteers will be sanding......drilling....assembling.....staining.....and branding....wood components of a bed.

Vibe

Come to learn and have fun helping kids in our community get their own bed!

Christmas eve services

Each year, churches around the world, including The River, remember the first advent (or coming) of Jesus as we look ahead to the promised second coming (advent) of Jesus! As we prepare our hearts for the time when God broke through the darkness with the pure Light of Jesus, we will consider how His arrival continues to move our world, and our lives, from darkness into the Light.

The River will be gathering for THREE CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES on Wednesday, December 24th!

Our 3 pm and 5 pm worship services will include a special children’s moment along with inspiring Christmas praise and worship music led by our praise team.

Our 7 pm worship service will include a special children’s moment along with beautiful traditional Christmas hymns led by our choir.

All three services will end with the singing of Silent Night by candlelight. There will be nursery care for children ages birth through two years old.

Celebrate Recovery (CR) meets EVERY Wednesday, no exceptions. We do not cancel for holidays or inclement weather. WEDNESDAY EVENINGS: Dinner @ 6 pm, Worship @ 7 pm, Men’s and Women’s Open Share Groups @ 8 pm

You and you're family are encouraged to be part of this life changing ministry. All of us have some hurt, habit, or hang up that is preventing us from experiencing the full and abundant life (John 10:10) Jesus offers us.
