Lead PASTOR
Tim Schulte

About Tim

Tim was born and raised in the St. Louis area. Before entering the ministry, he spent several years as a heavy duty truck mechanic, several years as a mechanic with high end exotic cars, and eventually traded the wrenches for a hammer and owned and operated his own residential construction business for 15 years. Tim began his journey into ministry in 1999 as a youth volunteer and then as a youth director at The River at Eureka in 2008. He answered the call to pastoral ministry in 2010 and completed his seminary studies at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, IL) in July 2017. Tim was appointed as the associate pastor at The River at Eureka in 2012 and began serving as the lead pastor in February 2017.

ABOUT DAVID

After moving all around the United States due to business and military responsibilities, David settled in the St. Louis area about 25 years ago and considers it home. Before answering his call to ministry David was, and still is, a Regional Director for a large international company and manages the Midwest territory. Having spent most of his adult life managing people and keeping them on the right path professionally, he is now committed to helping people find the path to Christ and eternal salvation. David and his family have spent over a decade worshiping at The River at Eureka and is actively and enthusiastically trying to learn everything he can about the mystery of the God of the Universe.

Favorite things about Eureka
The small town feel and values. Amazing people that would help anyone in need. The rolling hills and bluffs. The majestic Meramec river. Definitely Spooners! As a discriminating connoisseur of pizza, he is a huge fan of Pizza Hut.

Family
He is married to the love of his life Jenny. Has 4 amazing kids that the world revolves around and, not to be left out, Reagan his Golden Retriever.

Favorite activities
Anything and everything outside. Wood working. Hiking and camping. Steelers football. Boating(or anything on or near the water for that matter). Favorite hobby by far is being a husband and father!

Anything still on bucket list?
A several week vacation traveling this incredible country with no agenda or time table with Jenny. Still waiting to spoil Grandkids. Move into ministry full time. Having a boat. Never losing appreciation for my wife, family and what's really important.
