Tim began his journey into ministry in 1999 as a youth volunteer and then as a youth director at The River at Eureka in 2008. He answered the call to pastoral ministry in 2010 and completed his seminary studies at Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary (Evanston, IL) in July 2017. Tim was appointed as the associate pastor at The River at Eureka in 2012 and began serving as the lead pastor in February 2017.

Richelle Vanderveen,
Youth Director
Richelle VanderVeen
ABOUT Richelle
Hi! Iām Richelle VanderVeen, and I am so excited to be stepping into the role of Youth Group Ministry Leader here at The River at Eureka. My husband Randy and I moved to Eureka from St. Charles in 2024, and we have been members of the church since June of that year. From the very beginning, this community has truly felt like home, and we are so grateful to be part of what God is doing here.
Serving is a big part of who we are as a family. The first week here I was invited to sing in the traditional service choir and of course said yes! There are many other areas we participate in as well. Randy and I help serve as Liturgists during the first service, and my daughter Mila and I help Jenny with XStream Kids Ministry. I also sit on the Vision Board Team. Randy, myself and Braxton are part of a small group that meets every Sunday immediately following the first service here at the River, and Randy and I also host a small group together. We genuinely love being involved and helping wherever there is a need.
