We are excited to announce that we are planning an adult mission trip to Frakes, Kentucky September 25-October 1, 2021! Henderson Settlement is a ministry of the UMC and serves some of the poorest communities in the country. The River has sent teams to Henderson Settlement in the past, most recently about five years ago for a mid high youth mission trip. This is an amazing ministry and a wonderful opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ into the lives of the families in this region! Some of the details are still being worked out, but the dates are set. We will learn what our projects will be in the coming months. Many of these projects are centered around construction and people of all abilities are encouraged to be part of this team.

 Linda Stevens has been traveling to Henderson Settlement for the past NINE years and will be serving as our Team Leader for this upcoming mission trip! This will be a wonderful partnership with teams from Pacific UMC and Savannah UMC (St. Joseph, MO).
