Though Christmas is undeniably a season of joyous festivities, it can also stir memories of heartrending losses, particularly as we confront the stark reality of vacant chairs at the dinner table. Our Blue Christmas Service offers a sacred space and time where one can bring their grief, their sense of loss, their solitude, and their disappointments into the comforting presence of Jesus. In this sacred space, we courageously acknowledge our sorrow, we pay heartfelt tribute to those who are no longer physically present with us, and we reaffirm the profound hope that we find in Jesus.
